Individuals with medically CP in need of caregiver to support client with personal care, meal preparation, and maintaining safety in the home. Client has 57 hours of care.
This is an independent contract position and pays $16.50 per hour
Schedule: Various weekdays and weekends
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Requires Lifting daily transitions
- Supporting the individual during home activities
- Supporting with personal care, hygenie, home leasiuse activities and chores
- Meal/snack preparation and feeding assistance
- Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
- Performing light housekeeping tasks (as requested by guardian)
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals to social events, and community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
- Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
- Complete daily progress notes
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
