Dupler Office is looking for an experienced Technical Interior Designer to provide technical design services to clients by working closely with the sales, project coordination, and project management teams and clients to ensure accurate plans and specifications. This position is also responsible for servicing national accounts.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design Process

Supports fast-paced technical design production by quickly interpreting project requirements, field information, standards, and direction from sales, project coordination, and project management teams.

Manages a high volume of concurrent design requests and production tasks while maintaining accuracy, quality, and adherence to established deadlines.

Uses CET and Spec to create plans and specifications

Produces technical drawings, layouts, specifications, and revisions efficiently in support of high-volume project workflows and rapid turnaround expectations.

Prepares installation drawings for the project team and coordinates electrical and data locations with attention to technical accuracy and field-ready detail.

Provides finish and product information as needed; client-facing presentations and approvals are limited and typically supported by sales or project leadership.

Develops product specifications, verifies specifications against plans, and prepares specification orders with a high degree of speed, consistency, and accuracy.

Manages design changes and revisions

May attend limited client meetings as needed to support plan review, clarification, feedback, and approvals.
Departmental Practices

Maintains project documents, including recording of all key decisions, approvals, and sign-offs, and maintains notes from meetings

Manages adherence to project schedules, budgets, design task completion
Education: Bachelor’s degree in interior design required
Experience: 5+ years of experience, preferably in a team-based work or dealership environment

Strong visual design skills including proportion and aesthetics

Ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) software, CET experience preferred
