Position Summary
NAC Industries is seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Outdoor Solutions Foreman to lead our growing Outdoor Solutions Division. This position is responsible for overseeing field crews while performing a variety of outdoor services including fencing installation, landscaping, lawn maintenance, snow removal, storm cleanup, debris removal, and yard waste collection.
The Outdoor Solutions Foreman is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to NAC Industries' quality standards. This individual will lead by example, coordinating crews, managing equipment and materials, communicating with customers, and mentoring employees while maintaining a productive and professional work environment.
In addition to leading field operations, the Outdoor Solutions Foreman is expected to help grow the division by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with customers, generating qualified leads, and promoting NAC Industries' full range of outdoor services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Crew Leadership
- Lead and supervise Outdoor Solutions crews on daily projects.
- Plan, organize, and assign daily work activities.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
- Train, mentor, and develop laborers on proper installation techniques, equipment operation, and company procedures.
- Monitor crew productivity and workmanship while maintaining high quality standards.
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct daily job site safety meetings and inspections.
- Maintain positive team morale while promoting accountability and professionalism.
- Report project progress, labor hours, equipment needs, and job completion status to management.
Fencing Services
- Lead residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and temporary fencing installations.
- Read project layouts, plans, and specifications.
- Set posts and install chain link, vinyl, wood, ornamental, agricultural, and wire fencing.
- Install gates, operators, and fencing hardware.
- Verify measurements and ensure installations meet company quality standards.
- Perform final inspections prior to project completion.
Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance
- Oversee lawn mowing, trimming, edging, seasonal cleanups, and routine property maintenance.
- Install mulch, decorative rock, topsoil, plants, trees, shrubs, and landscape materials.
- Coordinate landscape improvement projects from start to finish.
- Maintain clean, attractive, and professional job sites.
Yard Waste & Debris Removal
- Coordinate curbside collection routes and cleanup projects.
- Supervise loading and hauling of brush, limbs, leaves, yard waste, and debris.
- Ensure materials are disposed of according to company procedures.
- Maintain efficient production while protecting customer property.
Storm Cleanup
- Lead emergency storm response crews.
- Coordinate debris removal, fallen tree cleanup, and property restoration.
- Operate equipment safely during emergency response situations.
- Prioritize customer safety and efficient project completion.
Snow Removal
- Coordinate snow removal crews during winter weather events.
- Operate plows, skid steers, snow blowers, and other snow removal equipment.
- Direct sidewalk clearing and ice control operations.
- Monitor weather conditions and communicate scheduling needs with management.
Business Development & Sales Support
- Actively identify opportunities for additional work while visiting customer properties and job sites.
- Build strong relationships with homeowners, contractors, property managers, municipalities, and business owners.
- Promote NAC Industries' Outdoor Solutions services, including fencing, landscaping, lawn maintenance, storm cleanup, snow removal, yard waste removal, debris removal, and other available services.
- Generate qualified leads for new residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial projects.
- Perform site visits and gather measurements, photographs, material quantities, and project information for estimating purposes.
- Assist management in developing accurate project estimates, scopes of work, material takeoffs, and customer proposals.
- Identify potential change orders and additional work opportunities on active projects.
- Communicate customer requests, project opportunities, and sales leads to management in a timely manner.
- Encourage referrals and repeat business through exceptional customer service and professional communication.
- Represent NAC Industries professionally within the community and help expand the company's customer base.
Equipment & Job Site Responsibilities
- Operate company trucks, trailers, skid steers, mini excavators, augers, trenchers, mowers, chainsaws, and other outdoor equipment safely.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
- Report equipment damage or repair needs immediately.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional trucks, trailers, and job sites.
- Verify all materials, tools, and equipment are loaded prior to leaving for each project.
- Ensure company assets are properly secured and maintained.
- Complete daily job reports, equipment logs, and project documentation.
Customer Relations
- Serve as the primary on-site representative for NAC Industries.
- Communicate professionally with customers throughout each project.
- Answer questions and address concerns promptly.
- Conduct final walkthroughs with customers upon project completion.
- Ensure customer satisfaction before closing out each project.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license required and clean driving record.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in fencing, landscaping, construction, lawn care, or related outdoor services.
- Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
- Experience operating construction and landscaping equipment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read plans, layouts, and project specifications.
- Ability to problem solve and make sound decisions in the field.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to motivate others and lead by example.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and perform repetitive physical work throughout the day.
- Work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers.
- Work overtime, weekends, or emergency response events as business demands require.
