Position: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Compensation: $60 per completed patient visit
Schedule: Part-Time / Flexible
Setting: Outpatient Health & Wellness Clinic
About the Position
F&M Health & Wellness is seeking a compassionate and dependable Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide outpatient behavioral and mental-health services.
This is a flexible position compensated at $60 for each completed patient visit.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychiatric and mental-health evaluations
- Assess and diagnose behavioral and mental-health conditions within scope
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Conduct follow-up psychiatric visits
- Provide medication-management services when clinically appropriate and legally authorized
- Order and review appropriate laboratory testing when clinically indicated
- Provide patient education
- Provide supportive psychotherapy/counseling within professional scope and competency
- Monitor patient response to treatment and medications
- Refer patients to counselors, psychiatrists, emergency services, or other specialists when appropriate
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with F&M's medical and behavioral-health team
Requirements
- Active Texas RN and APRN licensure in good standing
- Current PMHNP national board certification
- Appropriate Texas prescriptive authority for duties involving prescribing
- DEA registration when required for medications within the position's duties
- Professional liability coverage as required
- Strong psychiatric assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Outpatient behavioral-health experience preferred
Compensation
$60 per completed patient visit
Compensation is based on completed patient visits rather than an hourly salary. Patient volume may vary based on scheduled appointments.
