- Mini Trackhoe (Excavator) Operators for Site work
- Hylift 953 & 963 Operator for Residential work
- HydroSeeder Driver/Operator for Environmental work
Job Requirements include but not limited to:
- DHM's Heavy Equipment Operators may operate a variety of construction/excavation heavy equipment including, but not limited to, Track Loaders (Hylift), Backhoes, Front End Loaders, Skid Loaders, Trackhoes (Excavators), Rubber Tire Loaders, Graders, Gradalls, Dozers, Mini Excavators, Rollers, Haul Trucks, Scrapers, etc. that are used on our construction/excavation job sites. Some of the Operators responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform maintenance checks on equipment and make necessary small repairs
- Working with heavy construction equipment equipped with scoops, shovels, or buckets to move materials, earth, and heavy objects at our construction/excavating commercial and residential job sites
- Clear and grade land to prepare it for underground utilities, asphalt, concrete, buildings, residences, bridges, roadways, etc.
- Know both manual and electronic operations of heavy construction/excavation equipment
- General site preparation, utility installation, residential excavation, landscaping, loading dirt and rock, and other related construction site assignments
- May include digging of trenches and laying and repairing utility lines and pipe, and residential foundation work
- Performs labor tasks and other duties as and when required to do so
- Performs all duties in accordance with appropriate safety and security standards
- Loads materials onto dump trucks and haul trucks
- Operates hand tools and other small power equipment as needed
- Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience is required
- A commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus, but it is not a requirement for all operator positions; however, we will assist you with obtaining a CDL
- This is considered a safety-sensitive position
- No formal education requirement
