We are seeking a motivated and dependable Porter to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our job site. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that all areas are well-kept, organized, and ready for optimal operation.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across various areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces, ensuring a spotless environment at all times.
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as sweeping, using an M20 floor scrubber, and skid steer to remove trash
- Assist with floor care activities like buffing, polishing, and maintaining flooring surfaces to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal.
- Support facilities maintenance by addressing minor repairs, reporting larger issues promptly, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure a secure environment for staff and visitors.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services within commercial or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and custodial equipment operation.
- Prior experience with industrial cleaning tasks or facilities maintenance is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending comfortably.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team effectively.
Pay: $23.94 - $25.00 per hour
