We are seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of over 27 economy vehicles, including makes such as Honda, Toyota, Mazda, and Nissan. Based in Jeffersonville, Indiana, with work also performed at our shop in Louisville, Kentucky, this full-time role is essential to keeping our fleet running long-term with minimal downtime. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, experienced professional who takes pride in preventive maintenance and quality repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform brake, rotor, and suspension repairs, including shocks and struts
- Complete engine repairs and diagnostics
- Perform transmission repairs
- Diagnose and repair AC and heating systems
- Handle overall fleet repairs and general mechanic work
- Keep fleet maintenance up to date to minimize vehicle downtime and extend vehicle life
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, preferably with fleet vehicles
- Hands-on experience with economy vehicles such as Honda, Toyota, Mazda, and Nissan
- Must have your own tools
- Must have your own diagnostic scanner
- Strong skills in brakes, suspension, engine, transmission, and AC/heating repairs
- Ability to keep vehicles running reliably with minimal downtime
Pay: $600.00 - $1,000.00 per week
