Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on company-owned and customer-owned equipment.
- Perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on:
- Truck-Mounted Cranes
- Rough Terrain Cranes
- All Terrain Cranes
- Crawler Cranes
- Lattice Boom Cranes
- Boom Trucks
- Excavators
- Dozers
- Rollers
- Other construction and heavy dirt equipment
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to complete repairs.
- Communicate effectively with customers and office staff regarding equipment issues and repair solutions.
- Complete service documentation, work orders, and repair reports accurately and on time.
- Follow all company safety policies and environmental regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics and diagrams.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Factory training certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Manitowoc, Grove, and Kobelco cranes is highly preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Experience with diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must own or be able to obtain tools necessary for the position.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy components and tools.
- Frequent climbing, bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work safely in shop and field environments.
