Memorial Highway Chevrolet a family 0wned dealership is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive top-quality service, keeping their vehicles running smoothly and safely.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, transmissions and electrical systems with attention to detail.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Complete a accurate estimate and communicate repair findings to the service advisor.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
- Hands-on experience working with schematics, automotive diagnostics software, and calibration of ADAS features.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety standards. Pay: $50,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
