Our Family Medicine and Weight Loss Clinic offers a holistic approach to healthcare, combining traditional medical care with weight management services. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team.
Job Description: As a Part Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in our Clinic, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare to patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with our medical team and be trained to independently see and treat patients. For patients visiting for general wellness or urgent care, you will assess, diagnose, and develop a treatment plan. For patients visiting for weight loss, you will develop personalized weight management plans, including prescribing weight loss treatments and providing guidance on nutritional plans.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including history and physical exams
- Review diagnostic test results with patients and discuss course of action
- Provide evidence-based medical treatments for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including preventive care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop customized weight loss plans for patients.
- Educate patients on managing weight, nutrition, exercise, and other lifestyle factors for improved health outcomes.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate, in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Provide counseling and support to help patients make long-term lifestyle changes.
- Participate in regular team meetings and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
