Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundromat Attendant to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our customers. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, works well independently, and provides friendly customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with machine operation and basic questions
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including floors, machines, restrooms, and folding areas
- Load, unload, fold, and organize laundry (wash-and-fold service offered)
- Monitor washers and dryers for proper operation
- Report maintenance issues or machine malfunctions promptly
- Empty lint traps, trash bins, and sanitize high-touch surfaces
- Follow all safety and cleanliness standards
- Open and/or close the laundromat when scheduled
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Prior laundromat, cleaning, or customer service experience is a plus but not required
