Host/Hostess - Millie Leigh's Restaurant
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and maintaining the flow of service in our restaurant. Job Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.

Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.

Communicate wait times clearly to guests and provide updates as necessary.

Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.

Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.

Handle guest inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.

Utilize Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems for reservation management when necessary.

Maintain phone etiquette while answering calls related to reservations or guest inquiries.
Qualifications:

2–3 years of restaurant supervisory or management experience

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Commitment to high standards of hospitality

Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations preferred
