Heavy Highway Construction company in South Texas is hiring experienced truck drivers. We have road construction projects all over the Rio Grande Valley.
Job Description
Drive a commercial vehicle in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life. Will be using a lowboy to transport equipment to and from job sites.
Essential Job Functions and Requirements
· Commercial Driver License with good driving record required.
· Tanker and/or hazmat endorsements preferred.
· Perform daily safety and maintenance checks of the truck.
· Must have knowledge of applicable DOT rules and regulations.
· May be required to help with ground work when truck is not being operated.
· Operate all commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
· Advise the Foreman/Superintendent of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
· Work with minimal supervision.
· Practice workplace safety.
· Performs other related duties.
