General Manager - Operations & Sales Manager
Historical tours, event transportation and more – Oversee operations and sales as Pineapple Ride and Tour’s General Manager!

Pineapple Ride and Tour is one of St. Augustine’s fastest-growing small tour companies, offering engaging historical tours and event transportation services in the city’s vibrant historic district. We pride ourselves on delivering unique experiences through charming, open-air vehicles while celebrating the rich culture and history of the nation’s oldest city.
We are seeking an energetic and organized General Manager to lead daily operations, support our team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise tour guides on shift
- Arrive before morning tour guide to inspect vehicles and charging stations
- Answer the phone for services inquiries, sales and customer support
- Manage business email for services inquires, sales, and customer support
- Dispatch drivers/ tour guides for tours, events and ride services
- Create and manage tour guide schedule
- Create and manage business services/ events schedule
- Manage Fareharbor booking system
- Conduct outbound marketing
- Build custom tour itineraries and event transportation itineraries
- Cross promote products and attractions
- Train tour guides on operational procedures
- Conduct hiring
- Stay appraised of local events and culture
- Maintain relationships with local businesses
- Fill in as a tour guide when necessary
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- Valid or ability to obtain a St. Augustine Tour Guide License
- Bachelors Degree or comparable Management Experience
- Sales or Marketing Experience
- Strong background with booking/ scheduling software (fareharbor is a plus)
- Proficient skills with Open Office and Google workspace
- Strong communication and personal skills (especially on the phone)
- Must be able to comfortably operate the vehicles used in Pineapple Ride and Tour operations
