Essential Job Functions
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Diagnose and repair commercial washers, dryers, payment systems, and ancillary equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and gas-fired systems.
- Replace bearings, seals, valves, belts, motors, ignitors, contactors, thermostats, and electronic controls.
- Repair water leaks, drainage issues, gas systems, and electrical failures.
- Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, plumbing layouts, and service manuals.
- Maintain accurate service documentation.
Installation & Construction
- Install commercial washers and dryers.
- Remove and replace existing equipment.
- Level and anchor commercial laundry equipment.
- Install plumbing, gas, drain, venting, and electrical connections.
- Assist with laundromat remodels and new store construction.
- Commission newly installed equipment.
Store Support
- Respond to emergency equipment failures.
- Perform scheduled maintenance at multiple LaundroMax locations.
- Maintain organized inventory of tools and replacement parts.
- Coordinate repairs with store managers.
- Train attendants on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.

Assist with:
- New laundromat construction
- Equipment purchasing
- Installation scheduling
- Vendor coordination
- Utility coordination
- Equipment relocation
- Site inspections
- Equipment testing before opening
Customer Service
When working at customer or company locations:
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Communicate repair status clearly.
- Explain maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain positive customer relationships.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Arizona driver’s license.
- Clean driving record.
- Minimum two years of mechanical repair experience.
Equivalent experience in one or more of the following is acceptable:
- Commercial laundry equipment
- Commercial appliance repair
- Industrial maintenance
- HVAC
- Commercial kitchen equipment
- Industrial machinery
- Manufacturing maintenance
- Electrical maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with one or more:

- Electrolux Professional

- Continental Girbau

- Maytag Commercial
Additional preferred experience:
- Gas appliance service
- Commercial plumbing
- Electrical troubleshooting

- Forklift operation
- OSHA safety training
Required Knowledge & Skills
Ability to:
- Read wiring diagrams.
- Use electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Diagnose electrical circuits.
- Troubleshoot plumbing systems.
- Install gas piping.
- Use hand and power tools safely.
- Operate independently.
- Prioritize multiple service calls.
- Learn new equipment quickly.
- Maintain accurate records.
Physical Requirements
The employee must regularly:
- Lift up to 50 pounds independently.
- Lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance or mechanical equipment.
- Push and pull commercial laundry equipment using dollies and moving equipment.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Walk throughout multiple facilities.
- Frequently bend, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and climb.
- Work overhead using ladders.
- Work inside equipment cabinets and confined mechanical spaces.
- Use repetitive hand motions with hand tools.
- Operate power tools safely.
- Drive company vehicles throughout Northern Arizona.
- Occasionally work evenings or weekends during emergency repairs.
Work Environment
Employee will routinely work in:
- Operating laundromats
- Mechanical rooms
- Utility spaces
- Construction sites
- Outdoor environments
- Hot and humid conditions
- Dusty and lint-filled environments
- Areas with loud equipment noise
Travel Requirements
Travel is expected between company locations throughout Northern Arizona.
Occasional overnight travel for equipment training, vendor visits, or installations may be required.
Pay: $25.20 - $30.34 per hour
