Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with a focus on fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves engaging with children aged 2 to 5 years, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development through creative lesson plans and activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, and implement age-appropriate lesson
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Foster social skills through group activities and collaborative play
- Collaborate with other Teachers to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
- Changing soiled diapers and potty training children who are ready to learn
- Closing time duties including tidying of classroom and locking up school
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 12 units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
- A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds through engaging activities.
- Previous experience in toddler care or similar roles is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
