Job Description:
We are a growing machine shop looking to hire reliable and detail-oriented CNC Machinists. This position involves running pre-set CNC machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints.
Some programming and/or setup required. Operators will load parts, run production jobs, inspect finished pieces, make minor adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC milling or turning machines (machines are pre-programmed and pre-set).
- Read and follow blueprints and job instructions.
- Load raw material and unload finished parts.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Monitor machines during operation for proper function and quality.
- Perform general machine upkeep and keep work area clean.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with CNC milling or turning.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand part specifications.
- Experienced use of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Willingness to learn and follow direction.
- Previous machine shop or manufacturing experience.
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience working in a production environment.
