Office, Shipping & Warehouse Associate

The Old Grainery is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and organized individual to join our team in a combined Office, Shipping & Warehouse position.
This is a varied, hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working in an office environment as well as helping in the warehouse. Our business specializes in architectural salvage, antiques, reclaimed building materials, doors, furniture, and other unique merchandise that we sell and ship to customers throughout the country.
The ideal candidate will be able to move between computer and customer service duties in the office and physical shipping and warehouse work as needed.
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and shipping information
- Answer phones, emails, and customer questions
- Coordinate shipments with customers and freight companies
- Pick, verify, package, and prepare orders for shipment
- Prepare UPS, FedEx, and freight shipments
- Build pallets and crates as needed
- Load and unload trucks
- Receive, move, and organize inventory
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Assist with other office and warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with computers and learning new software
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Able to manage multiple responsibilities
- Comfortable performing physical warehouse work
- Able to lift and move heavier items when necessary
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift experience is a plus
We're looking for someone willing to do a little bit of everything. The right person will be dependable, flexible, willing to learn, and ready to help wherever needed.
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
