We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our presence in the Washington, DC market. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving sales performance, developing a strong, engaged team, and elevating the Phillip Jeffries brand across the region.
What you will be doing:
Lead a High-Performing Team
- Inspire, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals across the region
- Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture where people feel supported and challenged to grow
- Provide consistent feedback and hands-on guidance to elevate individual and team performance
- Set clear expectations and ensure alignment around goals and priorities
Drive Growth and Performance
- Own the region’s sales performance, delivering on monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Monitor key metrics and proactively adjust strategy to maximize results
- Identify new opportunities for growth across existing and untapped markets
- Partner with leadership to execute sales initiatives that strengthen market position
Build and Strengthen Client Relationships
- Cultivate strong partnerships with designers, design firms, and key industry contacts
- Represent the Phillip Jeffries brand with confidence, professionalism, and authenticity
- Stay closely connected to your market and anticipate client needs and trends
- Ensure a high-touch, elevated experience at every client interaction
Drive Strategy and Market Presence
- Translate broader business goals into clear, actionable plans for your region
- Bring forward insights on market trends, competitive activity, and customer behavior
- Collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional teams to support product launches and campaigns
- Play an active role in expanding brand visibility and awareness in the DC market
Partner Cross-Functionally
- Work closely with Customer Experience, Sampling, Logistics, and Finance to ensure a seamless client journey
- Communicate effectively across teams to drive alignment and execution
- Contribute to a culture of shared ownership and strong internal partnerships
Must Have:
- Must be based in the Washington, DC area
- 5–7 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years leading and managing a team
- Proven success driving revenue growth and consistently delivering strong business results
- Ability to hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team, including remote employees across multiple roles
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and make informed decisions
- Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to manage performance and reporting
- Highly effective communicator with strong presentation and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and execute with strong attention to detail
- Experience in field sales or managing regional/territory-based teams
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives from start to finish
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a focus on cross-functional partnership
- Willingness to travel up to 50%

Your Compensation Journey
- The total all-in compensation for this role ranges from $135,000 to $200,000, with the exact offer varying based on industry experience. This includes a competitive base salary, along with an annual company bonus and sales incentive plan.
