Possession of a high school diploma or GED; OR
Six months of experience in sub-professional engineering, heavy mobile equipment operation, or mobile equipment maintenance.

Job Duties:
- Performs work to fulfill the District's Quality Assurance program.
- Receives and processes samples from construction Gangs and Consultants for testing.
- Analyzes results to ensure compliance with DOTD policies, procedures, and specifications
- Performs borings and corings of existing roadways to provide information for District Design preliminary plans.

Compensation: Depends on qualifications

- Engineering Technician 2 - $16.03/hourly
- Engineering Technician 3 - $18.35/hourly
- Engineering Technician 4 - $21.00/hourly
Additional $2.00/Hourly Premium Pay for Every Hour Worked
