American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient position requiring at least 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and Epic proficiency.

Outpatient physical therapy setting across multiple facilities in Iowa and Illinois

Facility trauma designations vary by location: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 trauma centers are represented across the network

EMR: Epic (experience required)

Orientation begins every Monday

Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience required

At least 1 completed travel contract required — first-time travelers will not be considered

BLS (AHA) certification required

Active state PT license required at time of consideration; Iowa license required, compact license accepted — license required if applicable

Epic EMR experience required

One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years of employment required

Driver's license required

Skills checklist completed within the past year required

Candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for standard travel rates

Candidates who have been employed by this facility within the past 12 months are not eligible

Local candidates may be considered at select locations with adjusted pay rates

Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving

Time off requests during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday windows are limited to 1 day per period
