Job Summary
At Northeast Arc, our mission is to ensure that children and adults with disabilities are able to live, work, and thrive in their communities. Our ABA Services team plays a meaningful role in making that possible by providing evidence-based support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities. As an Intake Coordinator, you will serve as a vital connection point between families seeking services and the programs that can change their lives. You will be at the heart of our ABA operations, helping to ensure a smooth, organized, and welcoming experience for every family from the moment they reach out to us.
Responsibilities
Complete intake paperwork for new referrals to programs and communicate with families inquiring about ABA services
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all clients, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards
Communicate daily with the staffing coordinator to anticipate needs for staff hours and locations
Keep Program Directors regularly informed of program status, individual needs, and staff updates
Meet monthly with Program Directors and the administrative team for ongoing check-ins regarding programs, individuals, and staff
Attend staff meetings and trainings to develop expertise across programs in order to effectively represent ABA services to potential families and clients
Support the overall coordination and smooth functioning of program operations
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or a related field
Experience working in the human services or disability field
Working knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other database software
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Must successfully complete and pass all required background checks as a condition of employment.
