What You’ll Do
- Lead the store - overseeing baristas, team leads, and assistant managers.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through exceptional hospitality, food quality, and service.
- Build, train, and coach staff at all levels; conduct team meetings and 1:1 check-ins.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop new employees.
- Manage labor % to stay within goals while maintaining coverage.
- Oversee scheduling, inventory, ordering, vendor communication, and cash handling.
- Guarantee compliance with health codes, labor laws, and company policies.
- Address guest complaints, resolve issues, and maintain positive community relationships.
- Push product promotions, reduce waste, and support company marketing initiatives.
- Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and daily/weekly/monthly checklists are completed.
- Serve as the point of accountability for all staff performance, guest feedback, and store results.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and hold teams accountable.
- Previous management experience in food service, retail, or hospitality required. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and professional; weekend availability required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of POS systems (Toast experience a plus).
- Commitment to building culture and delivering results.
Career Path Growth
The GM role is the highest in-store leadership position at Bona Fide Juicery. With proven success, GMs may grow into multi-unit leadership or district manager roles as the company expands.
Hours of Operation
- Monday - Friday: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Saturday - Sunday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Job Requirements:
- Must have a ServSafe Certification
- Must have 1-2 years of General Manager experience
