(We interview M-F between 1-3pm).
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Toast)
- Knowledge of menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and process payments swiftly using POS (Toast)
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred (we will train)
- Knowledge of POS systems; we utilize Toast
- Excellent customer service/people skills! Ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment. We are BUSY!
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques (will require completion of food certification or unexpired proof you have completed)
- Culinary/customer service experience or kitchen background is beneficial; willingness to learn is essential!
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and check splitting; previous serving or hosting experience is advantageous
