$15.00–$17.00 per hour | Approximately 20–25 hours/week

As a Park & Recreation Coordinator, you'll help create memorable programs, exciting community events, and engaging recreational opportunities for residents of all ages. From planning summer events and youth programs to assisting with park operations, marketing, budgeting, and staff supervision, you'll gain experience across nearly every aspect of municipal parks and recreation.
What You'll Do
- Plan, organize, and assist with youth, adult, and senior recreation programs.
- Help coordinate community events, including concerts, festivals, movies in the park, and family activities.
- Create promotional materials including flyers, posters, social media content, and press releases.
- Assist with supervising seasonal staff and volunteers.
- Coordinate recreation facilities and program logistics.
- Support park maintenance, development projects, and special initiatives.
- Assist with budgeting, purchasing, billing, and other administrative functions.
- Attend meetings and work collaboratively with Village staff, community organizations, and advisory committees.
What We're Looking For
- One year of experience in parks and recreation programming, special events, or a related field.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as programs and events require.

Position Information
- Seasonal, Non-Exempt
