Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Air Import Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for actively tracking shipment statuses and flight schedules to forecast daily inbound shipments. The Operations Specialist will manage documentation for shipment pickups and handovers, maintain accurate filing both digitally and physically, and ensure all paperwork complies with CBP requirements. This position requires close communication with warehouse staff to receive paperwork and update shipment records with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
· Actively track flight schedules and shipment statuses to forecast daily inbound shipments
· File and organize shipment paperwork in both digital and physical systems
· Create accurate documents to process shipment pickups and handovers
· Communicate closely with warehouse staff to receive paperwork and update shipment statuses
· Maintain and update cargo status sheets and shipment logs accurately
· Monitor and escalate any discrepancies or issues in shipment movement or documentation
· Communicate with overseas customers and resolve issues on shipments
Requirements:
· Air Import logistics operations experience preferred
· Knowledge of shipment tracking and basic warehouse processes (inbound/outbound)
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and take responsibility for accuracy in documentation
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Strong communication skills for coordination with warehouse and internal teams
· Familiarity with CBP regulations for bonded facilities a plus
· Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is strongly preferred due to communication with overseas customers and vendors.
Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour (Based on experience)
