Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Contractor to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing a variety of construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship, adherence to safety protocols, and timely completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your extensive expertise in building and remodeling. Responsibilities
- Interpret and implement detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project execution.
- Oversee and perform construction tasks including building material installation, window and glass installation, flooring, trim carpentry, and remodeling projects.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently to support various phases of construction work.
- Conduct thorough construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
- Manage onsite activities related to plumbing, electrical systems, hardscape installation, and other specialized trades.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and team members to ensure seamless workflow across multiple construction projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work progress, safety compliance reports, and project updates using tools like Bluebeam or similar software.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols while working outdoors or in challenging environments to minimize risks on site.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction management, estimating, inspection, and site supervision.
- Strong knowledge of building construction processes including framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and remodeling techniques.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and specialized installation methods such as glass or window installation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols essential for maintaining a safe work environment on active sites.
- Skilled in working with diverse materials such as building materials for flooring, hardscape elements, electrical wiring, plumbing fixtures, and glass components.
- Outdoor work experience across various weather conditions is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding client requirements effectively.
