Position Summary
The Injection Molding Machine Operator is responsible for running molding equipment, inspecting parts, and supporting production flow to ensure high-quality output. This role is hands on, fast paced, and essential to meeting customer expectations for accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation — Run a variety of plastic injection molding machine according to established work instructions.
- Quality Standards — Perform visual inspections and collect quality samples to verify parts meet specifications.
- Documentation — Record accurate production and quality data.
- Part Handling — Weigh, count, and package molded parts using electronic scales.
- Trimming & Finishing — Use hand tools (clippers, utility knives) to trim excess material.
- Secondary Operations — May perform additional processes such as grinding, drilling, punching, or lathe work as needed.
- Safety — Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred; injection molding experience a plus.
- Ability to follow written instructions and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic measurement equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and a teamfocused work ethic.
Shifts Available
- 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – Midnight
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
