About The Family Center/La Familia
Since 1995, TFC/LF has served as Larimer County’s only early childhood and family resource centers. Now one of 32 family resource centers in the state, TFC/LF provides high quality early childhood education (ECE) to more than 75 children whose parents work and attend school, extensive crisis and family strengthening services as well as leadership and policy opportunities to more than 500 families annually. With more than 60% of the staff at TFC/LF being bilingual, TFC/LF is a trusted and safe place for Latinx families and is looked to by the Fort Collins and surrounding community as a leader in racial equity work.

Position Description
The Operations Assistant will support the Development Director and Operations Director with daily office tasks to promote efficiency for the organization. This position may also serve as a backup for the Bilingual Programs Assistant in their absence. This position will need to communicate effectively with community, staff and the board of directors.

Classification: Part Time, 20 hours per week, Non-Exempt, Hourly
Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Donor and Event Support
· Accurately enter incoming donations into the donor database
· Pull donor lists based on requested criteria
· Assist in creating and mailing donor thank you letters and tax receipts in a timely manner
· Assist in creating flyers, posters, and social media posts
· Provide support prior to, during, and after fundraising event; including, but not limited to; organizing auction items, recording attendee information, set up and clean up, sending thank you letters
Financial and HR Support
· Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
· Create files for newly hired staff
· Audit staff files annually to ensure accurate and up-to-date policies and documents are signed, as well as ensuring any training requirements are met
· Enter data for children and staff in the Procare childcare database
· Regularly file new financial and staff documents per organizational systems
General Administrative Support
· Make copies, fax, scan, send emails, and file paperwork as directed
· Attend occasional after-hours meetings as assigned e.g. staff meetings, agency events etc.
· Always maintain confidentiality of organization and client data
· Cross-train with the Bilingual Programs Assistant for occasional front desk coverage or support
Assist with other assigned duties and tasks as deemed necessary and relevant to the position.

Experience
· Knowledge and understanding of data entry and basic financial principles
· Knowledge and understanding of social media and basic graphic design programs
· 1-2 years of experience working in an office or similar setting
Education
· High School Diploma or GED
Language Ability
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, and technical procedures
· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
· Transparent, open, and positive communication
· Positive relationships and collaboration with the Latinx community. Trusted and respected by the community
· Ability to communicate clearly about issues that impact the Latinx community (health topics, resident rights, housing, economic opportunity, barriers to equity...)
· Written and spoken bilingual fluency in English/Spanish, native Spanish speaker preferred
Financial and Math Ability
· Ability to record and calculate outreach efforts and program attendance
· Ability to review, understand, and follow basic equations and tables for program eligibility
Computer Skills
· To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Internet software; including but not limited to; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Mail Merges, social media platforms, and database management
