Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of nursing home operations, regulatory compliance, and resident-centered care. As the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you will oversee daily facility management, ensure adherence to health regulations, and foster a compassionate environment that promotes the well-being of residents. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, staff development, and quality care delivery within a dynamic senior living setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of nursing home operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with long-term care regulations.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to residents’ individual needs, including those requiring Alzheimer's and dementia care.
- Supervise care facility teams, including nursing staff, social workers, and administrative personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Ensure adherence to health regulation policies and maintain accreditation standards through regular audits and quality assurance initiatives.
- Oversee medication administration processes and coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize resident health outcomes.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes to support efficient facility management.
- Maintain familiarity with disability services and home & community care regulations to expand service offerings and improve resident satisfaction.
- Lead financial management activities such as budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure sustainable operations.
- Promote a positive resident experience by ensuring compassionate care delivery that respects residents’ dignity and independence.
Experience
- Proven experience in nursing home administration or long-term care facility management with a strong background in senior care environments.
- Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, healthcare policies, and compliance standards specific to nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising multidisciplinary teams within residential or group home settings.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized dementia or Alzheimer’s care is highly desirable.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in healthcare financial management, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and healthcare documentation practices using Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior experience managing care facility teams in environments that emphasize social work principles and person-centered approaches is advantageous.
