We are looking for a reliable and efficient Line Cook to join our team and help deliver the high quality, fresh made breakfast and lunch dishes our community loves. You will be responsible for setting up your station, preparing ingredients, and executing orders with speed and precision during our busy cafe service. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in every plate and maintains a clean, organized workspace in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Station Management: Set up and stock stations with all the necessary supplies and prep components for daily service.
- Order Execution: Prepare and cook menu items to order, following established recipes and presentation standards for both cafe dining and take away catering.
- Prep and Par Levels: Assist the Sous Chef with daily prep lists, including slicing, portioning and making sauces to ensure consistent par levels.
- Kitchen Safety: Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols and FIFO rotation.
- Operational Oversight: Directing daily workflows and inventory management to optimize food costs and kitchen efficiency and minimizing waste.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the FOH staff to ensure a seamless experience for every guest.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen or cafe environment is preferred but, we are willing to train candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Technical Skills: Basic knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
- Speed and Accuracy: Ability to remain calm and focused during high volume breakfast and lunch rushes.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and lift up to 50 lbs.; being able to go up and downstairs.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a consistent “ can do” attitude are essential.

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
