Overv
As a Mission Readiness, you'll play a critical role in ensuring autonomous vehicles are ready for testing and service. You'll support fleet readiness, mission preparation, logistics, and vehicle operations while working alongside engineering and operations teams in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support company milestones and optimize drive operations across multiple Bay Area locations.
- Ensure vehicles, equipment, and workspaces are clean, organized, and mission-ready.
- Assist with vehicle movement, storage, and fleet logistics.
- Complete vehicle readiness documentation and paperwork.
- Charge test vehicles and supporting equipment.
- Execute mission preparation procedures, including launching software, verifying hardware and software configurations, deploying software updates, capturing requested data, and escalating issues when needed.
- Support vehicle recovery efforts as part of the Incident Response Team.
- Maintain spare parts readiness and inventory organization.
- Provide hands-on support to BaseOps Technicians, including fluid changes, basic part replacements, and wiring checks.
- Assist with general testing activities such as documentation, pre-mission support, cone course setup, traffic control, obstacle setup, and support vehicle driving.
