We are searching for a Full-Time Optician/Optical Technician. This position is looking for someone who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
If you are a Patient-focused professional with strong communication and organizational skills, experienced in providing exceptional service in fast-paced environments. Skilled at multitasking, building positive relationships with patients, maintaining accurate records, and working collaboratively with team members are eager to learn and grow within the optical field while delivering outstanding patient care and support. Main Responsibilities
- Assist patients with eyewear selection, sales, and repairs
- Complete Insurance authorizations and/or verifications
- Conduct patient pre-testing before eye exams
- Record visual acuity measurements
- Document patient concerns and information in the electronic health record system
- Perform specialized testing as directed
- Help with reception duties and patient paperwork
- Maintain a clean and organized office
Prior Optician/Optometric Technician experience preferred .
Hours M-TH 8:00-5:00. Fridays 8:00-2:00. No weekends, evenings or holidays.
