Located in Honesdale, PA, Wayne County Behavioral Health & Intellectual Disabilities agency is looking for a part time Residential Program Worker. This career is where you can make an impact. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position supports individuals as they return to the community or work to avoid hospitalization by helping them build confidence and independent living skills. Workers in this capacity will work on shifts to assure 24-hour availability in a small facility in which a limited number of seriously mentally ill (SMI) consumers reside, each in their own apartment. As a Part Time Residential Program Worker, you will perform the following duties:

Home Safety Training: Teach safety procedures inside the consumer's residence

Observation Sharing: Share observations with the supervisor and team members as appropriate

Progress Documentation: Record behaviors and progress in a clear and timely manner

Transportation Support: Transport consumers to appointments when needed using a county vehicle

Direct Assistance: Work closely with consumers in their home environment to support daily living
Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Part-time employment, approximately 15-20 hours per week.

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

Employee may have occasional overnight travel or out of County travel for meetings or training. Often, irregular hours, including: evenings, holidays and weekends may be required.
