Spend your summer working in a beautiful outdoor setting while providing exceptional service to our Members and their guests. NJCC is seeking friendly, energetic, and hospitality-focused Poolside F&B Servers to join our team for the rest of the summer season.
At the North Jersey Country Club, Member experience is our top priority. This position plays an important role in providing high level service to our Club Members and guests who are dining poolside. While this is a summer seasonal role, there is an opportunity for part-time year-round employment after Labor Day working as a member of our Banquet team. Poolside F&B Servers report to the F&B Pool Supervisor and the F&B Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, courteous, and attentive service to Members and guests at the pool.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool dining areas, service stations, and workspaces.
- Process payments accurately using the Club's POS system.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties including pool deck setup and break down.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow pool staff members to ensure that operations run smoothly.
Schedule
- This is a summer seasonal position through Labor Day.
- This position requires availability Tuesdays through Sundays.
- Shifts are from 10 am to 7 pm.
- Due to the nature of our operations, holidays are mandatory.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in fine dining or food service roles is preferred.
- Banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Positive attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards.
Work Environment
- This position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift. Work is performed primarily outdoors.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
