Job description:
You will be helping our Director of Activities execute crafts, play games and other activities with our residents. Please call for more info.
1. Assist the Activity Director in leading individual and group activities as assigned.
2. Assist the Activity Director in completing, planning and organizing activities for independent residents and nursing home residents.
3. Assist in completing Activity assessments and the appropriate documentation of the Activity program to meet state and federal guidelines
4. Set-up for activities including the purchase and organization of required supplies for each Activity.
5. Assist in loading and unloading of Bristol House bus to escort residents on trips
6. Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the Activity Room and other areas where Activities might be held.
7. Prep and independently lead discussion, crafts, social groups and active group games
8. Complete required continuous training and education, including department specific
requirements.
9. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served within the unit.
10. Be able to perform in the absence of the Activity Director
11. Assist with other duties as assigned by Activity Director or Director of Nursing
