Overview
The Office Receptionist plays an important role in creating a positive experience for clients, visitors, and staff. This position manages front desk responsibilities, provides administrative support, and helps keep the office running smoothly and efficiently each day.

Responsibilities:
- Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person's visit and directs or escorts them to the appropriate location within the firm.
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
- Maintains confidentiality and upholds the firm's standards for client service and privacy.
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and distributes items as appropriate.
- Coordinates and manages the pickup and delivery of office documents, ensuring timely and secure service for interoffice and external correspondence.
- Maintains the reception area and conference rooms in a neat and presentable condition.
- Assists with opening and closing the office, helping ensure the workspace is ready for employees, clients, and visitors.
- Assists with coordinating office maintenance, deliveries, and vendor services as needed.
- Supports day-to-day office operations, including ordering and maintaining office supplies and ensuring the office remains organized and welcoming.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for external vendors and service providers regarding office maintenance, deliveries, and equipment needs.
- Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break; this is an in-office position.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour
