Your expertise in hair extensions, coloring techniques, and styling will help clients look and feel their best. As a key member of our team, you'll also engage in retail sales, upselling products, and providing personalized consultations to enhance client satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and special treatments with precision and care.
- Apply advanced techniques such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to meet diverse client needs.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to industry regulations to ensure client safety.
- Use salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively to client preferences and offering expert advice on styles and products.
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items, makeup, nail care products, and styling tools to enhance the client experience.
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and supporting store management tasks.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development within the team.
- Stay current with industry trends in hair styling, color theory, and beauty treatments through ongoing education.
Experience
- Proven experience as a professional Hair Stylist or Barber with a strong portfolio of diverse styles.
- Knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for efficient store management.
- Expertise in advanced hair techniques including hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care services.
- Familiarity with sanitation protocols and safety standards within a salon environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling and inventory management.
