Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Senior Plumbing Designer - Multi-Family in Riverside, CA. The Senior Plumbing Designer is responsible for leading the design and development of plumbing systems for large-scale multi-family residential projects. This role requires an expert-level understanding of Revit and AutoCAD to produce detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings, and material take-offs while providing technical leadership to field and fabrication teams.

Responsibilities:
- Review architectural plans and set up Revit and CAD files for plumbing design projects.
- Design comprehensive plumbing systems based on architectural drawings and specific material requirements.
- Generate isometric and lay-in drawings to facilitate accurate fabrication and field installation.
- Prepare detailed 3D Revit drawings, schedules, and isometrics for both design-build and plan/spec projects.
- Review project submittals to identify space limitations and ensure overall constructability.
- Develop Material Requisitions (MR) and perform precise take-offs on all project drawings.
- Provide technical support and guidance for fabrication shops and field operations.
- Coordinate design efforts with architects and project teams to ensure system compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in plumbing design, specifically within the MEP or construction industry.
- Expert-level proficiency with AutoCAD is required.
- Strong proficiency in 3D Revit (BIM) modeling and file setup.
- Extensive experience with multi-family residential construction projects.
- Proven ability to generate fabrication-ready drawings and technical isometrics.
- Strong technical understanding of material requisitioning and take-off processes.
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean DMV record.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands/fingers to operate a computer and keyboard for prolonged periods.
- Regularly spend multiple hours using and looking at a computer screen for detailed design work.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required occasionally.
- Ability to occasionally travel to job sites or fabrication facilities as needed.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $62,400 to $93,600 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
