Sous Chef – Local Bistro | Scottsdale, AZ
Local Bistro is seeking a strong, hands-on Sous Chef who leads from the front. This is not a clock-in, clock-out role — we are looking for a kitchen leader who drives standards, controls costs, and demands excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Run daily kitchen operations with authority and urgency
- Enforce consistency, execution, and plating standards
- Control food cost, waste, and inventory
- Train, discipline, and develop kitchen staff
- Maintain strict sanitation and organization
What We Expect:
- 3+ years proven kitchen leadership
- Strong command presence and high standards
- Deep understanding of scratch cooking
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Nights and weekends required
