Join the Division of State Care Facilities, a dedicated team within the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare committed to supporting and empowering clients through compassionate, skilled services and dedicated care. Southwest Idaho Treatment Center (SWITC) in Nampa is seeking a Therapist Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our interdisciplinary team, providing specialized, person-centered services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential treatment setting.
This position is not eligible for telework.
The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare is a drug-free workplace. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral evaluations to identify treatment needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans using evidence-based practices.
- Analyze behavioral data and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes and individual progress.
- Provide consultation and technical expertise to interdisciplinary team members regarding behavioral interventions.
- Train, mentor, and coach direct care staff and other professionals on behavior support strategies and positive behavior supports.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive treatment plans.
- Ensure behavioral programming complies with applicable federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, and Department policies.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation.
- Support the Department's commitment to person-centered planning, active treatment, and continuous quality improvement.
