Overview
We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team.
Job Description:
- MUST HAVE MINIMUM 4 YEARS EXPERIENCE.
. Conducting Daily Field Inspections
- Perform daily audits of electrical work practices.
- Verify all personnel complete and document pre-use inspection forms for electrical tools and equipment.
- Use a standardized inspection checklist to ensure consistency.
2. Identifying and Mitigating Electrical Hazards
- Proactively look for unsafe practices, damaged equipment, or improper PPE usage.
- Immediately develop and implement corrective actions for hazards identified.
- Maintain a hazard log for tracking issues and resolutions.
3. Providing Technical Guidance and Training
- Offer ongoing safety guidance to field teams regarding:
- Safe work practices.
- PPE requirements specific to high-risk electrical tasks.
- Document all training sessions and topics covered.
4. Collaborating with Stakeholders
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, and General Contractors.
- Integrate electrical safety procedures and considerations into every project phase.
- Communicate regularly to address emerging safety concerns and updates.
5. Building a Safety Culture
- Promote a proactive approach to electrical safety.
- Encourage open communication about hazards and safety concerns.
- Recognize and reward safety-conscious behaviors.
- Continually seek opportunities for safety improvement.
- Must have good driving record.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
