Job description:
We're looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to join our construction company. Our team builds ADUs, builds custom homes, handles partial and full remodels, and handles various types of development projects. As our company continues to rapidly grow, we're looking for a hands-on leader to run our job sites, manage crews, and keep projects on schedule and up to our standards. Pay ranges from $35/hr to $55/hr depending on experience. At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry, including at least 2 years leading crews, is mandatory.
Job Description:
- Lead day-to-day operations on residential and commercial job sites, including ADUs, custom homes, and partial/full remodels.
- Supervise, schedule, and direct crew members and subcontractors across all phases of construction.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and inspections to keep projects on schedule.
- Enforce safety guidelines and procedures on construction sites, including toolbox talks.
- Perform quality control walkthroughs and manage punch lists through project completion.
- Communicate daily progress, issues, and needs to the project manager/owner.
- Track labor hours and help manage job costs.
- Train and mentor crew members to build a strong, accountable team.
