Reports To: Logistics Manager with guidance from ReStore Directors

Pay: From $16 per hour
Location: Williamsburg, VA
Overview: The Call Center Scheduler supports the Logistics Department with helping to increase merchandise inventory which will be sold at all three Habitat ReStore locations by ensuring donor calls are answered and pickups are scheduled in a timely manner.
The Habitat ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently-used furniture, appliances, home goods, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. The Habitat ReStore generates enough profits to build affordable homes for sale to local low-income families, as well as to promote recycling. All ReStore profits are used to build and sell affordable housing in our local community!

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide superior customer service while answering and returning phone calls or emails to schedule donation pickups
- Ensure call center maintains an 80% or higher call answer average
- Maintain high attention to detail while entering donation data for scheduling
- Communicate regularly with donors to schedule, update and confirm pickups
- Screen donation for quality and value while on the phone or over email
- Organize time-sensitive routes efficiently
- Work proactively to improve donor relations
- All other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager, ReStore Directors or CEO/COO as needed to support the Habitat for Humanity mission.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must possess strong problem solving skills
- Ability to accurately type 30+ words per minute while on the phone, including use of web-based forms
- Proficient in Google Suite/Workspace
- Self motivated with the ability to prioritize and stay organized
- Exceptional time management, with a customer-centric sense of urgency
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
- Willingness to work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds
- Ability to sit for long periods
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work remotely during inclement weather and other approved closures while maintaining productivity and responsiveness.
