Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals with special needs. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals with autism and other disabilities lead fulfilling lives. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals with special needs, including working with people with Dementia
- Assist with daily activities, such as personal care, and meal preparation
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills
ensuring the safety and well-being of Seniors- appointments, community outings,
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment
- report any changes or concerns to Med Tech
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and respect resident rights
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support is preferred
- Ability to lift and assist individuals as needed
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus
- Familiarity with working with people with Dementia is highly desirable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
