Job Title: Senior Human Resource Manager
Location: Remote (TX, NC)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, and weekends as needed. Central Time Zone
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of the HR function for a workforce of approximately 300 employees. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing HR policies, programs, and initiatives that support the company’s mission, culture, and long-term objectives. The HR Manager serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensures compliance with all employment laws, and fosters a workplace environment that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
- Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR). Required
- Master's degree in Human Resources - preferred
- Understanding the policies, compliance, and regulations.
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proven track record in employee relations, organizational development, and HR strategy within a company of similar size or complexity.

- Work with third vendors and strategic external partners
Talent Acquisition & Development
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes to ensure the company attracts high-quality candidates.
- Manage employer branding efforts to strengthen the company’s talent pipeline.
- Develop and implement onboarding, training, and leadership development programs.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a primary point of contact for complex employee relations issues.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and transparent communication.
- Mediate disputes and resolve conflicts while maintaining a fair and consistent approach.
Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations
- Direct the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Partner with Finance on salary budgeting and payroll oversight.
- Ensure HR systems, records, and processes are efficient, accurate, and secure.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to mitigate employment-related risks.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the team, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Establish performance goals and measure results against strategic objectives.
Qualifications

- Reside in NC or TX- preferred
