Job Summary
As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience in our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders Micros POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently while ensuring proper presentation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and other side work.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Handle payment transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards in all aspects of food handling and service.
- Assist with guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is preferred, with knowledge of food service operations.
- Familiarity with Micros POS systems is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent communication skills for effective guest interaction and teamwork.
- Understanding of menu items required.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
