Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Leader to support a patient-centered care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical nursing experience along with leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience. This role focuses on improving patient outcomes, enhancing patient experience, supporting nursing staff, and promoting quality and safety initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff while promoting high-quality patient care.
- Lead and support patient experience initiatives, including purposeful rounding and relationship-centered care practices.
- Conduct regular patient rounding and address patient concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to improve care delivery.
- Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to nursing staff to support professional growth.
- Monitor compliance with nursing standards, safety practices, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in quality and safety projects.
- Support staff engagement, teamwork, and a positive patient care environment.
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience
- Previous Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, Clinical Coordinator, or leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of patient care standards and nursing practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Acute care hospital experience
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives
- Experience mentoring or leading nursing teams
- Epic EMR experience preferred
