Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse – Critical Care RN:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill or unstable patients
- Continuously assess, monitor, and document patients' condition and response to treatment
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and advanced treatments as prescribed
- Operate and monitor critical care equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors
- Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and ongoing care needs
Requirements for the Travel Nurse – Critical Care RN:
- Active Louisiana (LA) Registered Nurse (RN) License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care nursing experience
