Position Overview
We are urgently hiring a CNC Programmer / Machinist to support our precision tooling operations.
This is a hands-on programming role for someone experienced in MasterCAM who can create and run their own programs in 3-axis CNC mills. The ideal candidate has experience with complex 3D surfacing, tight tolerances, and contour-driven toolpaths used in cavity of turbine blade molds and support tooling.
You will import CAD models, generate efficient and accurate toolpaths, select appropriate tooling, determine feeds and speeds, and then set up and run your own programs on the machine. Most critical surfaces are held to ±.001” tolerances and require careful planning and execution.
This role requires strong ownership from programming through final machining, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and machinists to ensure parts are produced correctly and efficiently. This position involves coordinating workflow through the CNC department.

- Program 3-axis CNC mills using MasterCAM
- Develop complex 3D toolpaths for cavities and gas turbine blade molds and tooling
- Verify and prove out new CNC programs
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
- Collaborate with engineering to improve manufacturability
- Select tooling and determine machining strategy, feeds, and speeds
- Typical materials include 6061 and 7075 aluminum, P20 and D2 steel, and EDM graphite
- Set up and run your own CNC programs
- Ensure all critical dimensions meet tolerance requirements
